Nike produced its Jordan poster cards as trade pieces — small cards distributed to retailers to catalog the full-size posters Nike was shipping, marked ‘For Promotional Use Only · Not For Resale.’ They were never sold at retail. The Imagination card, Nike catalog #290867, references the 38½″ × 21″ poster of the same name: a slow-motion sequence of Jordan rising for a dunk, broken into stop-motion frames down the length of the image. It first appeared in the 1980s and was reissued in the 1991-92 season as a Type 3 white-border printing — the version graded here. The Air Jordan ‘Wings’ logo in the corner is the early form of the mark, the basketball framed by outstretched wings, used by Nike before the silhouette Jumpman became the dominant logo. Across all grades, only 16 copies have been graded by PSA, and 4 have received a PSA 10. DimeLabs owns one of those four.
