This is one of the sharper-looking Jordan inserts of the early-’90s premium era — from the 1993–94 Fleer Ultra All-Defensive Team set, card #2 of 10. The design is a dramatic dual-exposure: a large, ghosted close-up of Jordan finishing a dunk fills the left of the frame while a second, full-figure Jordan rises for another jam on the right, all under the gold ‘’93-94 Fleer Ultra’ foil with the ‘NBA All-Defense First Team’ emblem in the corner. It is a fitting tribute: the back notes that in 1992–93 Jordan dominated at both ends, anchoring a Bulls defense that allowed just 98.9 points a game and leading the league with 221 steals — including a season-high nine in a single game against New Jersey.
One labeling quirk worth knowing: PSA slabs this card as ‘Ultra All-NBA #2,’ but the card itself is the All-Defensive Team insert (the back reads ‘2 of 10’ with the All-Defense emblem), one of several distinct Jordan subsets Fleer issued that year alongside Power in the Key, Scoring Kings and Famous Nicknames. With more than a thousand copies graded but only 92 reaching PSA 10 — an 8.47 percent gem rate — a clean gem is a genuinely small slice of the population.
