The 1993–94 SkyBox Premium Center Stage is a clean, striking early-’90s Jordan insert, and #CS1 is the lead card of the set. The design is the appeal: a borderless, full-bleed cut-out of Jordan in the red Bulls road uniform, ball in hand, set against a deep black background so nothing competes with him — and across the top, his name in prismatic silver-foil lettering that catches the light and sparkles as the card moves. It is a simple idea executed perfectly, the kind of dark, glossy ‘poster’ look that makes it an instantly recognizable MJ card. It comes from a 9-card insert set seeded roughly one in twelve first-series SkyBox Premium packs.
The back leans into the moment: when Chicago took its third straight title, Jordan was ‘Center Stage,’ averaging an astonishing 41.0 points per game against Phoenix in the 1993 Finals on the way to his third consecutive Finals MVP. That black border and the foil nameplate are also the reason gem copies are scarce — the dark edges show the smallest chip and the foil scuffs, so a clean PSA 10 is hard to land: of 2,887 copies graded across all grades, only 74 have reached PSA 10, a 2.56 percent gem rate.
