The Sticky Fingers insert is one of the loudest designs of the mid-’90s chrome era — a dripping, graffiti-style logo set against a cracked orange-and-red mosaic, with Jordan in a defensive crouch in the white Bulls home uniform. It comes from 1996-97 Topps Chrome as card 18 in the Season’s Best subset, the chromium version of the design, and the back ties the theme to the stat behind it: Jordan led the league with 2.2 steals per game in 1995-96, his return-season — the “chief thief” the card’s artwork is built around.
The Chrome finish is what makes this one hard in high grade. The reflective surface shows the faintest handling, and the dark borders telegraph every chip, so most copies come back below a 10. Of 621 graded across all grades, only 67 have reached PSA 10 — a 10.77 percent gem rate, with none graded higher.
