Rock The House is one of the most striking inserts of Jordan’s final Bulls championship season, and it is built around the most explosive thing he did on a court: the dunk. The foil front frames Jordan in a ferocious two-handed jam, hanging off an orange rim with the net flared, mouth open mid-roar, set against a dramatic backdrop of shattered blue-grey rubble and radiating energy — the ‘ROCK THE HOUSE’ logo smashed across the top in stone-grey block letters.
It is loud, kinetic, and unmistakably late-’90s. The card comes from 1997–98 NBA Hoops Series 2 (SkyBox) as card 6 of a 10-card Rock The House insert set, released during the 1997–98 season that ended with Jordan’s sixth title. The back keeps the same rocky motif and runs a fittingly hyperbolic write-up: ‘There are players who generate fan excitement. Then there’s Michael.’ As a foil insert, the surface is condition-sensitive — the corners chip and the foil shows print lines — which is why gem mint copies are scarce: of 509 graded across all grades, only 19 are PSA 10, a 3.73 percent gem rate.
