The 1995 Finest Mystery M1 exists in three distinct versions — and knowing which one you have matters. The base Mystery is the non-refractor, distributed in packs with an opaque coating. The Bordered Test Refractor was a production accident: Topps experimented with an orange-bordered refractor version, determined the centering was unworkable, and intended them to be destroyed — but some survived and reached the market. Then there's this: the Borderless Refractor, the intended refractor release with no border framing the card, letting the full chromium surface show edge to edge. The back of this card is particularly striking — the full-bleed refractor treatment continues on the reverse, which is uncommon for the era.
