Triumvirate was a die-cut insert in 1997–98 Topps Stadium Club, and one of the most ambitious of the late-1990s premium era. The concept: three teammates each got a laser-cut card that physically interlocked with the other two to form a single fused trio. For the Bulls that meant Michael Jordan (#T1B) flanked by Scottie Pippen (#T1A) and Dennis Rodman (#T1C), the design built around a hardwood-floor motif with a large ‘U’ behind Jordan. The back carries a ‘Tri-Quotient’ — the share of the team’s scoring the three produced together, here 52.0 percent of the 1996–97 Bulls’ points.
Where it gets interesting for collectors is the parallel ladder. Beyond the base die-cut, Stadium Club issued the Triumvirate in several harder-to-find technologies — Luminescent (a refractor-like metallic front), Illuminator (the scarcest, with a fully transparent front), and the Luminous and Members Only printings. Members Only was Stadium Club’s long-running premium tier, and these inserts are among the more sought-after chase pieces precisely because they sit a notch above the standard parallels in scarcity. This card is the Luminous / Members Only #T1B Jordan, a combination PSA tracks as its own variety. Across all grades PSA has graded only 49 of this variety, with 20 reaching PSA 10.
